Valiant is building out a research product for individual investors with a focus on risk management, portfolio construction, and process discipline. Experience has taught us that giving people trade ideas is a waste of time if they don’t have the mindset and process in place to execute on them. As a result, we don’t do real-time trade signals, news alerts, model portfolios, or anything of the kind: we repeatedly emphasize process over outcome, and our goal above all else is to help clients operate without emotion, giving them the tools and education they need to develop a rigorous framework that lets them approach the market with confidence.
